Mooli Paratha

Mooli is considered as one of the main ingredients in Punjabi cuisine .They have mooli salad , mooli chapati too .I have lived in Lucknow (UP-India) for quite a few years , i love to make mooli paratha .I made last night Mulli Paratha along with capsicum and carrot fry.In North India mostly people would like to have paratha with a cup of plain yogurt. Some People do not like mulli , but i love them .I thought i could share with all you guys.

Raw Material Required

1 Large White Radish
2 Cup White Flour
1 tsp - red chilli powder
salt as per taste

Preparation Style

In a small bowl grate the radish .In another bowl add all the materials including the grated radish with little water .When adding water we should be very careful as mooli it self would leave some water .Make a thick chapati dough .Make few big rolls (bigger than chapati) and roll it into a big round .Add the white flour when rolling the dough and place it in the hot tava .See to that the paratha is cooked evenly.Spread a bit a ghee on both the side of the paratha and allow them to cook evenly .Serve it hot with pickle or any curry of your choice.

Enjoy Madi!!!!!
